Updates appear on Thursday — moves the winter event one week?
What is still noticeable? The developers of New World have been publishing their updates on Thursday for several weeks. The first 3 updates were published on a Wednesday. The Tuesday, however, has not been a patch day for New World.
Many now speculate that the patch 1.2 should appear last Thursday, December 9th. The winter event would be already played with, but only a few days later has been activated.
But through the much feedback on the PTR, there were too big changes that should be tested before the release, such as the price reduction in the production of plaster, the new Perks and a few general bug fixes, which were announced only a few days later in the forum.
This also speaks that the patch 1.1.2, which actually appeared on 9 December, was rather small.
When is the release of Update 1.2 and Winter Event? The release of patch 1.2 seems most likely this week Wednesday or Thursday. This will probably go directly to the winter event.
However, there are also speculation, according to which the winter event is still delayed. Then a shift would be possible for a whole week, so until the 21st of December.
